Hi, I’m Ruth (she/her), a creative celebrant based in Devon. I help couples create wedding ceremonies that feel calm, personal and joyfully authentic. If you’re the kind of couple who doesn’t quite fit the traditional mould, you’re in the right place. I work with people who want something a little different, something that feels like them. Maybe you’re planning an outdoor ceremony, a festival-style celebration, or something cosy and low-key. Perhaps you’re blending families, finding ways to include your pets or children, or just want to do things your own way. Before I became a celebrant, I worked in fundraising, marketing, and even as a scuba diving instructor. Which means I know how to tell a story in a way that feels real and full of heart (not so much the scuba diving) I’ll help you find the words that sound like you, not a stranger reading a script. I believe that ceremonies should feel like a deep breath, not a performance. They should be filled with meaning, laughter, love and little details that make people say, "That was so them!"
